Ageno Community has been up and running for almost a year now. The impact it has made in the local community and especially in the lives of the students and their families is huge!
We have decided that now it is time to start a strategic giving program to help ensure consistency and sustainability for the future.
“Pro-Vi$ion for Growth” is our theme and it is full of meaning. The word “Pro” can mean an advantage or something positive. The Ageno students now have a life full of positive possibilities because of Ageno. “Pro” can also be an abbreviation for professional. God brought Lydia to America to train her up in her career as a Special Education teacher and administrator. She is highly skilled and qualified to teach and lead with integrity and heart.
“Vision” is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination and wisdom. If you have been following Ageno very long, you have heard the vision of a future compound of several buildings – a community library, conference center, fish pond, green houses, and possible housing. It is a purposeful plan to serve more students and to train professionals from all across Africa. The dream is to grow and impact the culture of Africa to realize the importance of valuing, respecting and educating God’s most precious children.
Ageno is in God’s hands and He is the One to supply all of our needs. His provision is evidence of His faithfulness and care for His people. God has been faithful to Ageno through your giving. We have built a school building, filled and shipped a container of supplies used to set up and decorate the entire school. The impact of generous gifts given over the years has given Ageno a solid start, but there is so much more to do. Your commitment of a recurring monthly donation will combine with other donations for maximum impact for Ageno and its students.
